I enjoy Dick and Wally’s friendship, in general, and I especially enjoy it here. The fic is light-hearted and pretty adorable, and the edge of Dick’s loneliness and need for a friend gives it a lovely emotional undercurrent.

 I LOVE SPEEDSTERS SFM, YOU GUYS. This is a delicate and thoughtful take on Wally’s dietary requirements, usually treated as a joke, and how very serious they actually are and how that affects him mentally and emotionally. SPEEDSTERRRRSSSS AND THEIR PROBLEMSSSS.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh. This is a delightful exploration of Conner and M’gann and how they’ve felt throughout the entirety of currently aired canon, about their mentors, about their teammates, about their respective statuses as strangers in strange lands, and, of course, about each other. The second-person POV really works for me here and the handling of Conner/M’gann is sweet and subtle and adorable.

Q:yeah someone who regularly uses the tag #if you hate m'gann m'orzz chances are i don't care for you as a person CLEARLY does not give a shit about whether people dislike m'gann. i'm totally fooled!!!!

OH anon you got me. CLEARLY NO TAG ON TUMBLR EVER UTILIZED HYPERBOLE BEFORE!!

How about this: when YJ fandom starts actively hating M’gann M’orzz for reasons that are NOT rife with internalized sexism and misogyny of some stripe (even when they claim otherwise), then I will stop using that tag.

Tell me about Superboy/M'gann from YJ!

Okay, so, I spend most of my time in YJ fandom (thusfar) writing fic for ridic pairings that I made up such as Artemis/Kaldur, Tula/Kaldur/Garth, and Dick/YJ!Babs Who Doesn’t Actually Exist, but Supey/M’gann is actually my OTP for the show.

They are just SO FUCKING ADORABLE. I can’t even. I love that they’re awkward around each other, that they’re feeling their way through slowly but surely. I love that M’gann is open about her eyehearts and sweet, awkward, shy Conner expresses himself through acts of kindness towards her, through his concern for her physical and emotional well-being. I love their closeness, obviously suborned by their LIVING TOGETHER and how attuned M’gann is to him and his needs, reflecting the way he is, as already mentioned, very aware of and protective of her. 

I love that they have mis-steps, but they fix them!

I love that they just LIKE each other. OKAY THAT IS MY NUMBER ONE SHIP KINK OF ALL TIME. RADICAL I KNOW.

BUT I LOVE PEOPLE WHO LIKE EACH OTHER.

And I hate pretty much every single thing that fandom chooses to be regarding them. BUT LET’S NOT TALK ABOUT THAT.

Conner/M’gann is aces and I wish them all the awkward adolescent feelings and inevitable kissy-faces in the world. I WILL BE THERE. SQUEALING WITH DELIGHT.
