ROOMMATE POST II: I would like to keep living in NYC if so possible
Hiiiiii. A while ago I did a tumblr roommate post thing that got a huge response and it was suggested to me I try this again since I’m looking for a better, cheaper place to live, and there is no reason I should be paying as much as I am for my current, in-theory-temporary living situation.
Stuff:
- I am a 24-year-old white cis Jewish lady, fannish nerd, introverted and considerate of others, clean but not fanatically so, I’m not going to have a lot of wild parties but I will watch a lot of animated movies
- glamorous temp
- I am good/chill to live with you can ask my current roommates or current fake roommates, and really nice - however I am bad at opening bottles and cans and reaching things on high shelves
- if you are sad I will cook you food
- I like to write and like cats as long as they don’t have serious behavioral problems (like my current cats), I would rather not live with a dog
- I live in Brooklyn currently and would like to stay there
- but we are VERY FAR AWAY from the nearest train/grocery store/basic stuff and that is a thing I would like to not deal with anymore
- $500-700 range
- totes queer/trans/mental illness/disability friendly
- I am tired of being transient and it would be cool to live in a more home-like place that actually has a living room and where you can invite friends over etc
