for my latest procrastination trick:
i fixed the computer that i broke during my previous procrastination trick!!1
inexplicably one of my ram PORT THINGS went bad… not any of the ram itself
and it was a ram port thing that i hadn’t even messed with at all the first time?!?!?!

IT IS SCRIVENER 2!!! Once, I paid my money for Scrivener, and I was good. But then, it updated without telling me that in order to use the new version I’d have to PAY ALL OVER AGAIN, and now I’m a murderer with a “free” trial of 2.0.5.

SEE I took out one of the ram stickummajigs to see if they needed to be cleaned but ram is always a complete ASSHOLE to put back in properly and while I was trying the little bottom thingeroo clip mofo came off and so I had to hunt around inside the computer for 10 minutes to refind it and put it back on but now it’s all weird like it works but can also still fall off if you mess with it too much?!?! Then when i tried to start the computer again the dreaded THREE BEEPS OF RAM PROBLEMS :(((((
So now I have to try the whole switch the ram sticks around and take out all but one and keep trying until one works and then re-add them to figure out if they’re bad or something EXCEPT IT STILL WOULDN’T WORK WHEN I LEFT THAT ONE WITH THE LOOSE CLIP THINGER and i cannot imagine how my RAM could have RANDOMLY gone bad when it was just that one stick that I took out and put back in so whatever
ANYWAY
it is solveable
just annoying
especially if i have to buy new ram

i decided to clean out my desktop computer (alphonse) like i had been procrastinating about doing for three weeks
and then in the process
i somehow managed to do something to the ram
and now
the computer is registering a ram problem and won’t start up
